Welcome to the our Family Page for Anna

Ted Odlaug

Ted Odlaug

Thank you for visiting.

Our children Andrew and Kimberly blessed us in September 2017 with the birth of Anna Grace. In her short life she has already given us so much love and joy.

After suffering prolonged seizures following her 4 and 6 month vaccinations, Anna was diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome in early May 2018. While shocked and saddened by the news, we are intent to remain optimistic and focus on the reasons for hope, of which there are many.

The mission of DSF is to aggressively raise research funds for Dravet syndrome and related epilepsies; to increase awareness of these catastrophic conditions; and to provide support to affected individuals and families. These fundraising efforts will help with this important cause.

Andrew, who is an accomplished marathoner, is running this year for Anna and all of the brave Dravet children who have come before her. He raised over $10,000 in running the 2018 Chicago and New York City marathons. Kim's sister Chelsea raised over $20,000 with her Platform tennis network (e.g. Fall Brawl and National Charities Paddle Tournament ). Our family plans to do additional fundraisers in the months and years ahead. Never give up and find a cure is our mantra.

Our sincere thanks for anything you can contribute.

This cause is very important to us, and we appreciate all the support we can get for our dear Anna and all the children like her! Together we can make a difference!

Sincerely yours,

Pat and Ted (parents of Andrew)
Marsha and Cary (parents of Kimberly)
